There are many studies about the benefits of buying from local independent businesses. When you do so, it means more money stays in the local economy. One study states that for every dollar spent with a small independent business 68 cents stays in the local economy versus 43 cents for a national chain. That's more money driving the local economy.
If every household in Waukesha spent an additional $10 per week with a small independently owned business it would add approximately $5,000,000 into our local economy to pay for schools, roads, services and sustain jobs. To me, its a no-brainer to think local when deciding where to shop, eat, drink and play.

In order to understand the technicalities of the business, one should be having a very sharp mind. It is truly stated that the money spent by a person in the business has a large impact on the economy of the state.
