WHISKESHA is a one day celebration of whiskey. It is being held in the heart of downtown Waukesha at The Nice Ash Cigar Bar on January 31st, 2016. We aren't just sampling over 50 whiskies; we are creating an experience to be remembered. Take in an informative seminar, eat some great food, share experiences with other whiskey lovers, talk to the brand ambassadors, participate in one of our tasting competitions and win some prizes, bid on our silent auction items benefitting Fisher House Wisconsin, and most of all you have access to a great selection of whiskies!
Whiskesha promotes and encourages responsible, moderate consumption of alcohol and reserves the right to ask anyone who becomes disruptive or offensive to leave any tasting events. You will have the opportunity to sample many whiskies; make sure to eat something before the event, take advantage of the food available; as well as pace yourself with water so you can enjoy your selections responsibly. You have plenty of time to space your tastings, it is not a race! Do not plan to drink and drive. Please consider recruiting a designated driver. There are other alternatives: take a cab, rent a limo with some of your friends, try Uber or have a friend pick you up. In addition, the Clarke Hotel is located across the street from the Nice Ash. They have limited rooms available, make your reservations early as they will sell out quickly. There are other hotels within a short cab ride. All ticket sales are final. No refunds, however tickets are transferable. General Admission - $59 This ticket option has a 2:00 pm entrance time, event ends at 5:30pm. You will receive a complimentary event glass that you can use for your tastings and take home as a remembrance of the event. You will have unlimited access to our standard whiskey selection. Hors d'oeuvre's will be served throughout the event. On a first come first serve basis you will have access to our whiskey seminars put on by brand ambassadors, distillers and whiskey celebrities. Purchase four tickets or more and get a 5% discount. VIP Admission - $99This ticket option will provide you with the same benefits as General Admission plus you will be able to enter the event one hour early at 1:00 pm. In addition. you will have access to some select, hard to find and special whiskies including a much coveted Pappy Van Winkle, the Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 yr. Purchase four tickets or more and get a 5% discount. Stroke of Genius Painting Class - $30If you have a designated driver who is looking for something to do while you are enjoying over 50 selections of whiskey at Whiskesha then we have a fantastic option. Whiskesha has partnered with A Stroke of Genius Paint & Wine Studio, a paint and wine studio located just one block from the Nice Ash (venue of Whiskesha). You can have fun, a glass of wine or soda and enjoy being with friends in a creative, social setting. They offer a relaxing, fun painting experience where creativity is encouraged, and art is therapeutic fun! The session runs between 2:30 and 5:00 pm. The painting will be the classic Walk in the Rain, shown below. The cost for this fun event is just $30. |
